What format does the script need to be in?
ClipsGen accepts a simple JSON format: a title, a hook line, and an array of dialog lines — each with a character slug, the spoken text, an expression tag, and which side of the screen the character appears on. We provide a prompt kit that teaches ChatGPT or Claude the exact schema.
Can I use any LLM to write the script?
Yes. The BYO-script lane is LLM-agnostic. Use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or any other tool that can output JSON. As long as the output matches our schema, it works.
Does pasting my own script cost extra?
